alsar-atelier  is a pandemic-born architecture and design reasearch studio based in Boston & Bogotá. The practice focuses on the design and development of need-based transient architectures in the public realm. The studio has a design methodology that prioritizes concepts of sustainable materials, affordable strategies, and community engagement. The  practice has generated a line of work that has been featured in diverse media including articles from Metropolis magazine 2022 Jul-Aug Edition, Arquine, and the Nov 2023 Edition of DOMUS. Recently, the studio was nominated for the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize EMERGE, Cycle 5.
